PPSC Youth main focus is skill development, passing, movement off the ball and gaining an understanding of football tactics. All coaches are encouraged to work with the 433 tactical system which is recognised as an attacking formation and one of the easiest to translate into other formations. Although in this age group the games are competitive PPSC still retains its main focus of player development over results.
Youth training times are Monday and Wednesday nights from 6.00 - 7.30pm. Please check with your child's coach to ensure these are the times he will be working to.
Youth game day is Friday nights. Your team coordinator will have a draw for your team before the first game of the season. Team draws can also be sourced here.
Please ensure your child has their boots, shin pads, a drink bottle and suitable training attire when they arrive at training. Coaches have been instructed to start their sessions on time, to make sure your child gets the full benefit of their training time please ensure they have the correct equipment and are ready to train on time.
Remember PPSC is not a child minding service, we are a community based sporting club. Remember that while all care is taken to ensure your child’s safety, coaches are not responsible to wait at the grounds until you arrive. At the conclusion of their session it is the parents responsibility to collect their child from the field.
